We had every reason to go to primary election to showcase ourselves and our strength says Barr. Ajala Ganiyu Olawale (AGO)

APC: WHY WE RESPECT OUR LEADERS, BOW TO PARTY SUPREMACY

It was indeed a tough situation yesterday morning at the meeting of the aspirants with the leadership of our great party, APC, in Ikeja Federal Constituency.

We had every reason to go to the primary election today, Wednesday, 20th May 2026, to showcase ourselves and our strength.

Alas! It was a very serious argument left and right to juxtapose the reason for the coming back of the incumbent. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke was at the center of this discussion.

The MHR is a mentor and leader we all respect so much that whatever he says, we do, because of his pedigree and love for all of us.

However, we did not step down from this race. We only bow to leaders’ opinion and respect the party supremacy, which is key to all of us.

To our teaming supporters and the AGO family, we remain stronger than before. We keep ourselves together as a force and one united family.

Thank you for the unprecedented support and commitment to good and virile representation, especially in Ikeja Constituency II.

You all put up a good challenge towards the betterment of our immediate community.

We therefore thank all our leaders in Ikeja and Ojodu, ably coordinated by our MHR, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, for the confidence they have in us as a movement towards a better today and tomorrow in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos State.

We surely remain focused and resolute in building a better and egalitarian society. We did not step down, but rather we are stepping up by God’s grace.

MERCI BEAUCOUP.
