The
assistant Super Eagles coach, Jean Francois Loscuito was rushed to the theater
and surgically operated in South Africa yesterday, January 9.
The
report came from the crew in Pretoria where the team is currently training
ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) said that the German suddenly
became uncomfortable and started complaining of stomach upset. The Sunday
Oliseh’s assistant was later rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Pretoria
where he was wheeled straight to the theater where the surgery was carried out successfully.
However,
the source disclosed that a metal was found inside his stomach and has since
been removed by the prompt doctors. The coach is getting better. Recall that
the coach has been in charge of the super eagles since the head coach, Sunday
Oliseh’s absence due to viral infection treatment. In a related news, following
his team’s disappointing draw with Angola in a warm-up game in South Africa,
Pretoria on Wednesday, January 7, coach Sunday Oliseh believes his boys are not
ready for the 2016 African Nations Championship.
