Prepare for an extraordinary 2024 year of laughter, resilience, and inspiration as MC Fantasy, the dynamic Nigerian comedian based in Chicago, America, announces a one-of-a-kind comedy concert and the launch of his deeply moving book chronicling his survival and triumph over cardiac arrest. 

The event is scheduled to take place in the city of Chicago, Sunday, July 7, 2024. 

 

MC Fantasy, known for his infectious humor and cultural insights, will take center stage in an event titled "Fantasy Island: A Heartfelt Comedy Triumph." This unique show will blend his signature humor with a narrative that delves into his personal journey of resilience and triumph over life-threatening adversity. 

 

The event highlight will be the launch of MC Fantasy's book, titled ‘My Anecdotes’ A Comedian's Resilience." And also the Launch of his heart foundation called ‘ASA Heart Foundation’ which is a non-profitable organization. 

 

This compelling autobiography recounts the comedian's harrowing experience with cardiac arrest and the subsequent journey to recovery. Fusing humor and vulnerability, MC Fantasy shares his story of survival and the life-changing lessons learned along the way. 

 

“I, Sam Adeleke popularly known as MC Fantasy, had a sudden heart attack in October of 2021 and was defibrillated a record 36 times. Doctors put me into a medically induced coma as machines sustained my body, breathing for me and feeding me. Iwas unconscious for three days b0efore undergoing open heart surgery.

 

“Today I have fully recovered, and I’m back to work, and enjoying time with my family - but I live with a device implanted in my chest that monitors my heart rhythm 24/7.

 

Now I want to sound the alarm and help save lives. More than half a million people in Illinois have coronary heart disease, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

 

The event aims not only to entertain but also to inspire individuals facing their own challenges, demonstrating that laughter can be a healing force.
