In the spirit of the forthcoming Eid-el-Adha celebration and in fulfillment of his administration's commitment to workers' welfare, inclusiveness, and community support, the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barr.

Moyosore Ogunlewe has commenced the distribution of lleya rams, cows and food items to all stakeholders with the inclusion of cash gifts to the entire workforce of the council.

The laudable gesture, which has continued to attract widespread commendation from residents and beneficiaries, forms part of the Barr. Ogunlewe's annual welfare initiative aimed at ensuring that every segment of Kosofe communities celebrates the Eid-el-Adha festival in joy, comfort and abundance.

Speaking during the exercise, the Council Chairman reaffirmed his administration's unwavering dedication to promoting staff welfare, religious harmony, community development, and social inclusion. According to him, the initiative reflects the compassionate and people-oriented leadership style of the present administration.

Beneficiaries of the good gesture also include Traditional Rulers, Baales, Islamic Leaders, Market Leaders, Community Development Associations, and various support groups who have consistently contributed to the peace, growth and development of the council area.

The distribution exercise was carefully designed to ensure fairness, inclusiveness and broad community participation noting that no sector of the local government is left behind in the celebration package.

The Chairman in the spirit of celebration urged residents to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice, tolerance and unity which Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes, while encouraging continuous support for government initiatives geared towards sustainable grassroots development. 

Many beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to the Chairman for the intervention and thoughtful gesture, describing the initiative as unprecedented, impactful, and a clear demonstration of responsive and compassionate leadership.
