The three Nigerian nationals were sentenced by a federal court in Mississippi.
- Oladimeji Seun Ayelotan - 95 years
- Rasaq Aderoju Raheem — 115 years
- Femi Alexander Mewase - 25 years
That adds up to 235 years. Court records show the scheme involved romance scams and other internet-based fraud, with an intended loss of more than $25 million.
They were convicted on offences including mail and wire fraud, identity theft, credit-card/access-device fraud and theft of U.S. government funds.
Ayelotan and Raheem were also convicted in connection with bank fraud and money laundering.
