Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya Empowered 500 Constituents During Environmental Sanitation Awareness Walk

Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya, the Ikeja Constituency 2 Lagos State House of Assembly Aspirant (ABOSCO), leads an environmental sanitation awareness walk in Ikeja Constituency 2.

The awareness walk organized by Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya started from Ojodu Berger to Aguda-Ogba and ended at Omole Axis in Ojodu LCDA.

The exercise attracted both APC members, religious leaders, and non-APC members. Her motive is to create more awareness of the reintroduced environmental sanitation by the Lagos State government to the residents of Ikeja constituency 2.

Addressing the large crowd at Ogba, Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya urges women to show more concern and participate in the reintroduced environmental sanitation exercises. In her words, she said, “Everybody knows that environmental sanitation is back. The work now is about awareness, to tell our people in the Ikeja constituency to come out and participate in this exercise.”

“Ikeja is known for excellence and cleanliness, so we are encouraging everyone to participate and keep our environment clean,” she said.

“I am contesting for the Lagos State House of Assembly in Ikeja Constituency 2 because I believe I have the experience and capacity to serve.”

“I have served as a sole administrator, worked in the APC party secretariat ACME, and participated in several APC committees.”

“These experiences have prepared me for the task ahead,” she said.

She advocated greater inclusion of women in governance, stressing the need to give them opportunities to contribute, while calling for fairness and openness during the APC party primaries election.

Hon. Bimbo Osikoya urged residents of Ikeja constituency 2 to shun voter apathy, participate in the electoral process, and vote for APC.

Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya later empowered 500 women, including people living with disabilities. Mrs. Kafilat Ahmed, the Iyaloja of the Akiode community in Ojodu LCDA, said, “We are mothers in this community, and we understand what people are going through.”

“Sometimes, those people we vote for may not respond to our needs.“But But we believe that if Hon. Bimbo Oshikoya gets there, she will listen to us and attend to our requests,”
